Hemp ban set to be delayed a month after House passes funding bill
thehill.com/policy/healthcar…
What a terrific #hemp champion we have in @amyklobuchar. Thanks so much for your passionate leadership on behalf of farmers and consumers.
Good news: The House just passed a bipartisan bill with a key provision based on my legislation to delay the federal hemp ban, which I opposed last year. It’s headed to the President’s desk & he should sign it immediately.
This gives us time to find a long-term solution for our farmers & small businesses.
Thank you @RepAngieCraig for working across the aisle to develop strong bipartisan solutions for our nation's #hemp farmers and consumers.
Yesterday, the House voted to delay the federal hemp ban by one month. It’s a step in the right direction — but it’s not nearly enough.
Thousands of Minnesota workers, farmers, brewers and producers depend on the hemp industry and hemp-derived products. I’ll keep fighting to stop the hemp ban and protect Minnesota jobs.

BREAKING: The House has passed the CR with the hemp extension intact and sent it to the President's desk.
Congress approved a 1-month extension of the federal hemp restrictions to Dec. 11.
Thank you for your advocacy! The fight for smart, workable hemp regulation continues.
From @RecoveringPol, our General Counsel:
We are very grateful to the President and large bipartisan majorities in Congress for the lifeline of a 30-day extension. Now the important work comes: passing in December robust regulation that cracks down on illicit sales to minors...

Just taking a minute to expressing deep gratitude across a broad coalition from @HempRoundtable @hempbevalliance @BAMCOpolicy and their members to secure a one-month extension to the looming hemp product ban.
So grateful to have @GovAndyBeshear fighting for our industry. #Hemp really is one of the few bipartisan issues in US policy.
Thank you @GovAndyBeshear for standing up for hemp farmers in Kentucky and hemp product consumers all across America 🇺🇸
Remember in November! For a Hemp-Friendly US Senate.
The following bipartisan list of candidates in highly contested races for the U.S. Senate have been vocally pro-hemp over the past few weeks. Please show them some love!
