Obviously, times have changed a little over the last 65 years, and NORAD now provides the facility to track Santa online (noradsanta.org) and on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.

The quick-thinking commander on duty realised what was happening and assured the young girl that they would make sure Santa safely completed his journey. Now known as NORAD, is has continued to enable children and families to track Santa on Christmas Eve ever since.
