🐶Meet Albert, a gorgeous 2 year old rough-coated #Lurcher He is quite simply, 𝐚 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭🐶
🐕He came into our care after being found as a stray & was facing euthanasia before we heard about his plight. We are so pleased he is now safe with us & ready to find his forever home
🐕Albert is a big, handsome lad with a lovely nature
✅️🐕Albert enjoys the company of other dogs
🐱❌️🐇❌️🐁Due to his instincts, he will need a cat & small-animal-free home🐱❌️🐇❌️🐁
🏡Albert deserves a home where he can settle in, be loved & finally enjoy the happy life he deserves
🏡He would be happy to have canine friends in his new home
🏡His new family should be prepared to give this big-hearted boy plenty of love, patience & guidance as he settles into life outside of kennels
🏡We really hope someone will see the wonderful dog Albert is & give this gentle giant the forever home he so deserves
🏡If you think you can offer Albert the right home, please complete the application form by following the link below👇

Sometimes I get really fed up with social media.
Today I'm attending animal welfare training, getting my elderly mother home and still running Dog Desk.
One person is producing virtually all our work. We have no funding to employ someone to create our posters, and despite advertising, no volunteers have come forward.
Yet someone finds time to mock an AI-generated poster for My Giving Circle. A graphic created to draw attention to a free voting campaign that could secure much needed funding for the dogs in our care.
It's not an art competition. It's an attempt to buy mobility aids for paralysed dog.
If you've got time to criticise, perhaps you've got time to volunteer?
We need practical help, not cheap shots from the side lines. Seriously, get a grip. I am really not in the mood for this nonsense today.
We can't believe our handsome Oreo is still looking for his forever home. Our volunteers are doing their very best to make his time in kennels enjoyable, but he really does deserve a home and family of his own.

#k9hour 2yo big lass IZZY gets along well with both male & female dogs. While she may be a bit hesitant around new people at first, she warms up quickly. Food is a big motivator for Izzy - she loves to eat & gets excited at mealtimes! However, she can be protective of her food bowl & may need to be fed separately until she feels secure. Despite being a bit reserved at first, Izzy enjoys cuddles & affection once she feels comfortable. Izzy's background is a bit rough - she was abandoned in a field & had to rely on the kindness of a stranger for food. Luckily, she was taken in by one of ABLDR's rescuers. Izzy is a quiet, laid-back dog who would thrive in a peaceful countryside setting & enjoy plenty of love & company. She is in Romania & can travel asap. abldr.org.uk/dogs/izzy-1356 #TeamZay #rescuedogsrock
