‼️‼️DEKALB COUNTY, GA‼️‼️
It is Monday afternoon, and there are currently 523 dogs in the building‼️‼️I know everyone is exhausted and tired of urgent lists - we are too.💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
Since last Monday alone, we have taken in 117 dogs‼️‼️‼️and we need to be at or below our humane space capacity goal of 475 by close of business Tuesday night to avoid having to make a euthanasia list. We still have two business days to get dogs brought into the building, but we also have that same amount of time to get dogs out of it‼️‼️‼️
These are all of the dogs on our at-risk list who need to get out of the shelter the most for one reason or another. If you are thinking about bringing a dog home, please consider one of these kids.🙏🙏🙏
If you are unable to foster or adopt at this time, PLEASE share this post. Visibility is incredibly important when it comes to getting shelter dogs into their forever homes, so the more eyes that see this post, the better.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

⚠️Critically Urgent in Central California -Adopter or Foster Needed Now
Both Due to be 💉 Weds . 10/28 at 6:30am‼️
3 year old Mary Jane and her brother Chonco are still at , Stanislaus Animal Services Agency, in Modesto, CA‼️
They only have the rest of today and tomorrow to find a home. Volunteers at the shelter are really hoping they can stay together. “Choncho (black/white) and Mary Jane (tan) were owner surrendered and have been quite shut down ever since.
They are clean, well-kept, and have no idea why they are here. They are kenneled separately likely due to their size, but they are shut down and depressed unless they are together.”
“Once you put them outside together, they are glued to one another's sides. They run around the yard hip and hip and bounce around like puppies! The light comes back into their eyes when they see each other. When they're in separate yards, all they do is look for each other. They will cry, dig, scream, and their only focus is getting back to each other”
“Both dogs are a bit timid but enjoy human company.”
Please go and adopt them or offer to Foster which will give them more time to find an adopter . Fostering is Free.
Please Share Choncho and Mary Jane. Trying to keep them together will make it harder to find an adopter or foster, and they are almost out of time🙏💔

🔁Please share Mac & Honey, bonded pair, during #k9hour & #rehomehour 🔁
🏡👇All their rehoming info is in the post below👇🏡
🐕Meet Mac & Honey, a very special pair of Dogue de Bordeauxs, who we believe are father & daughter🐕
These two Dogue de Bordeauxs have sadly not had the easiest starts in life
🐶Mac is 5 & Honey is 2
🐶They have formed a strong bond & we would dearly love to find them a home together
🐶Both have lovely temperaments
🐶They are typical of their breed - loyal, devoted & deeply affectionate
❌️😺🐇❌️Need a cat & small animal free household❌️😺🐇❌️
🏡We appreciate that finding a home for two large dogs together is a big ask, but we’re hoping there may be a Dogue de Bordeaux enthusiast out there who understands the breed & can give Mac & Honey the loving, secure home they so deserve
🏡❌️😺🐇❌️They will need a cat & small animal free home
🏡They have so much love & loyalty to offer, if you feel you could give this special pair their fresh start together, we’d love to hear from you
🏡If you think you can offer Mac & Honey the right home, please complete the application form by following the link below👇

COBB COUNTY, GA UPDATE‼️‼️
🎉 IT’S GYPSY’S FREEDOM RIDE!
A little while ago, I met Gypsy, a 14-year-old dog who had spent her entire life with the same family, only to be surrendered to a shelter because she was older and having accidents in the house. 💔
It broke my heart.💔💔
The first time I met her, she was terrified and barked at me. But with love and patience, I showed her I wasn’t going to hurt her. Slowly, she opened up and became the sweetest soul. I visited her all the time, took her for walks, always made sure she had a blanket, and reminded her she was going to be okay.💖💖I shared her story, hoping someone would give her the chance she deserved…
That’s when a guy named Dave saw her story and came to save her. ❤️
Dave runs The Flower Forever Ranch, where he gives forgotten, sick, elderly, and special-needs dogs a safe place to heal, feel loved, and live out their lives with dignity. He’s been doing this for 23 years, providing every dog with medical care, proper nutrition, patience, and something every dog deserves: the chance to feel safe and loved. His mission is largely self-funded, and he works tirelessly to care for every dog who calls the ranch home.
If you’d like to help Dave continue his incredible work, you can search for The Flower Forever Ranch GoFundMe to find his fundraiser and learn more about him. Every contribution makes a difference. 💖💖And Gypsy… right before getting into the car, she looked back at me one last time and wagged her tail. 🥹 I can’t explain it, but I felt like she understood. Maybe it was her way of saying thank you.
The first picture Dave sent me after leaving the shelter was Gypsy enjoying her very first pup cup. 🥹❤️
Sometimes, all it takes is one person to hear your story and change your entire world.
Gypsy, you were never too old to be loved. It was an honor being part of your story and Sharing Love with you 🥹❤️
Your volunteer friend,
Bruna
