View5D.jl version 0.2.0 has just been released as a package for visualisation in #julia @JuliaLanguage. The #java based data viewer has many features and has been part of #Fiji for many years. Installation in julia: ] add View5D
A special issue on structured illumination related topics has just appeared. royalsocietypublishing.org/t… This was originally linked to a SIM-Posium (thanks @kirtiprakash25) but then came the pandemics.
... this was almost the finishing line ... #SIMsalaSIM
My beloved group members gave me a great riddle week with tons of tasks from alignment to programming and discovering hidden hints. Loved it!
Filming for a UC2-based version of the Abbe experiment is going on right now. Barbora is doing a great job, explaining how an image is formed.

Very exciting work from @RetoPaul and @kD3AN !
Cleared tissue ASLM is online:
nature.com/articles/s41592-0…
It enables isotropic, subcellular resolution over large field of views and is compatible with all clearing techniques (n=1.33-1.559). We use ctASLM to image mouse brains, kidneys and bone marrow. Image shows stem cell niche.

I take a bag and put the following ingredients to travel to Peru to make a contribution for the equilibrium of science (not only a phenomenon known from physics). Mostly set to bring #OpenUc2 to Peru. Hopefully the air in the andes makes the in-line holographic imaging possible

Good morning. @OpenUc2 is ready and waiting for you to play with our demo-setups. CU2 @ booth B2.431 on #laser19! Looking forward to share ideas with you. @LichtwerkstattJ @beniroquai @renericht3r
If you SMLM grant was denied, why don’t you try dSTORM on the cheap: journals.plos.org/plosone/ar…
Great News! It was time to give optical tweezers and ultrashort pulses for laser surgery proper recognition.
