Today, i met Dr. Rajeev Raghuvanshi, Drugs Controller General of India and discussed the Digital Therapeutics (DTx) with him and how the #pharmaceutical industry needs to gear up with the wave of technology disruption that is likely to disrupt the value chain by 2025. Dr. Rajeev also holds the charge of the Secretary and Scientific Director of the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, and we (@patientsunion) signed an Memorandum of Understanding with the International Patients’ Union (IPU) to provide patients with an additional platform for ADR. I have always envisioned a healthcare that is patient-centric and patient driven and not a supplier driven model. It takes time to execute big ideas, but i have been a perpetual optimist of major reforms and i have seen them taking shape and many i have had the chance to design over the years.
