A completely new use case for XRP is emerging here. Through FAssets and @Firelightfi, XRP can now become economic security protecting DeFi across the EVM ecosystem. Not just bringing XRP into DeFi, but putting XRP to work securing capital far beyond XRPFi itself. This is what @FlareNetworks unlocks.
CoinTalk WATCH: @FlareNetworks is expanding XRP’s role in DeFi, with Kraken DeFi Earn’s Protected Strategies USDC vault now backed by $30.5 million in Firelight cover supported by staked FXRP on Flare, enabled through the FAssets system.

The fundamental reason I got into crypto is because I’ve long been convinced that the combination of: - Unsustainable debt - Aging population - Higher energy prices - Vast low skilled migration 5-10 years before widespread automation - Ineffectual and short term oriented political structures Would end up with the collapse of the middle class and the complete diminishment of much of the West (ex the US). It’s now clear that the transition to chaos and third world living standards is happening across much of Western Europe. Crypto as an asset class has always been the primary escape valve and is woefully undervalued.

Franklin Templeton's Sandy Kaul says crypto's next rally will extend beyond Bitcoin to protocols building new infrastructure "The reason that we really did bring Chris and Seth on and have them working with Tony and our native crypto team at Franklin, is because we need to be able to offer our clients the value that is being created." "As more of the world's economy is being rebuilt on crypto rails, people are going to need that exposure in their portfolio. It's the next growth area. Just like AI, when it came out, was a growth area and everyone needed AI exposure in their portfolio." "We truly believe that now everyone is going to need crypto exposure in their portfolios, and we are helping to educate people to understand that if you want to own the value a company is creating, you buy their stock." "I think the next big move we see in crypto is going to be much more broad-based. It's going to be more than just about what Bitcoin's fundamentals are." "It's going to be a much broader-based rally, where people want to have exposure to the protocols where we are actually building the new infrastructure."

True. You will be able to ask the Roadster to perform any of the tricks shown autonomously, as it will be sentient. Also, we will have a wild looping track (crazier even than Hot Wheels) at our Texas HQ where you can test out your Roadster.

A lot of people mistakenly think that Flare is only a network for XRP DeFi. Yes Flare is the premier chain for XRPFi but this is due primarily to our data capabilities which make FAssets both possible and secure. Flare is about decentralized data first. This is why we built Oracles and Confidential Compute. You will shortly see Flare make some advances in its data utility serving the blockchain space far more broadly.

Is it too early for 2027 predictions? Once XRPL’s native lending upgrades (XLS-65 and XLS-66) receive validator approval and demonstrate reliable performance in production, Evernorth can allocate part of its treasury directly into those on-ledger credit markets. RLUSD would be the primary asset in the Single Asset Vaults that fund the loans, giving dollar-denominated liquidity a native role alongside XRP. At that point, Sentora can extend the same institutional risk framework, parameter setting, and ongoing monitoring it already applies to its Morpho vaults, becoming the curated risk and on-ramp layer for XRPL-native yield in both XRP and RLUSD.
✍️Level Up On Stablecoins. 👀What's the playbook? @SentoraHQ, builders of @Firelightfi (available on @FlareNetworks), were asked to assist with ~2 dozen stablecoins. @Ripple $RLUSD is *one of only three* they said "Yes" to. Sentora CEO and co-founder Anthony DeMartino argues that launching a stablecoin is essentially starting a bank, which requires high capital, supporting infrastructure or an ecosystem, and a clear way to monetize it. Most projects that lack these elements or raise only small amounts do not make sense as standalone products. 👉He stresses that the profitable path is purpose-built stablecoins tied to real commercial use cases that unlock features making the issuing institution more profitable, *such as remittance companies.* RLUSD fits the criteria. Stablecoins that come with established payments and enterprise infrastructure can generate the kind of embedded utility and yield opportunities he describes as necessary. 📺youtu.be/Nl9MmpXE_Ho?si=poH2…

We backed Firelight because they are a highly serious team. They have launched with some of the biggest partners in the industry from day 1. There is space in the Firelight vault for additional deposits and Firelight is now available via Flare Smart Accounts. flare.network/products/flare…

1/ We're partnering with @Ripple to bring Privy wallets to the XRP Ledger (XRPL). This makes it easier for developers to build stablecoin payments, fintech applications, and agentic commerce on XRPL.

"One of the friction points of our predecessors is that they were using ETH to insure ETH." Firelight's Jesus Rodriguez on why $XRP and stellar:native make better DeFi insurance than $ETH "The massive unlock was what if we use non-DeFi correlated assets like XRP, XLM, even Bitcoin to some extent to protect premier assets in DeFi." "So essentially your cost of capital is very low, near zero. Because XRP never had a yield on-chain. XLM never had a yield on-chain. Bitcoin has a very low yield on-chain." "But if you're using XRP to insure a Sentora vault, a Morpho vault, an Aave market, the economics do make sense." "You're going to stake your XRP, put it in a deposit vault. It never touches the protocol, but you receive yield based on the protection of that protocol."

Institutions want the efficiency of a regulated stablecoin without sacrificing the custody standards they trust. Excited to announce that we’ve brought together $RLUSD on the XRP Ledger, @StanChart’s custody capabilities and @LMAX's institutional trading infrastructure to create a practical path for institutions to put stablecoins to work across global markets. RLUSD in action 💪 sc.com/en/press-release/stan…

Flare and FLR are intertwined. Flare is structured to drive revenue to FIRE. Thus the more Flare, or protocols built using Flare, are used the more revenue accrues to Fire.

One glance at the docs (literally 2-5minutes) made it clear that the game was to skew the Hyperliquid price. Flare cares intensely about the integrity and decentralisation of data. That’s why we will win.
Oracle design is one of the hardest problems in defi For this problem, Papertrade came up with a novel solution: List it under Risk as "unresolved vector" and do absolutely nothing

And perhaps that's where Flare's ambition lies: not just to circulate value, but to provide the verifiable information and results that allow other infrastructures to circulate it with confidence.
Flare’s mission is to be the key infrastructure for critical data as finance moves onchain. So far you have only seen one major example of this in FXRP. Soon you will see that the industry trusts Flare for key data where failure isn’t an option.
