My head hurts writing this tweet. There are blokes struggling out there now who have left the game with brain trauma that has ruined their life. See a specialist if you have any questions. The knowledge is simply not good enough outside of that.

I’m still getting migraines 10 months later. And dizzy when I walk for over 10 minutes with balance issues. If you’re a player reading this and it’s touch and go. Don’t do it. It’s not worth it.

For sure. Rugby players need an air of invincibility. And it’s what takes you to the top. A little bit of delusion that you can’t get hurt helps too. But the culture around head knocks needs to change. If we want to have people healthy with a decent quality of life during & after
For any players in any contact sport at any level, please listen to this advice from @Ste_Ward! They man gave everything and got to the top, but his experience doesn’t have to be another players reality #Concussion #OneBrain

We will do anything we can to help. It may simply be a case of dropping off a food parcel and leaving.

Just so you know, if you run out of food or necessities, or times are just tough, please don’t let you or your kids go to sleep on an empty stomach.
We sure are. Proud Mancunian
