We've completed a massive 1km of river restoration in the Poaka catchment this summer. A significant de-culverting, riparian fencing, wetland scrapes and leaky dams!

Thanks to Neils Corfield for a really interesting weatherproof #farming talk in the #Duddon on Monday, explaining all about #SoilHealth #landmanagement
Had an amazing time installing an eels pass yesterday! The pass will ease migration past the weir as eels move upstream 🌞👷🏼♀️
Check out our first #eel pass installation after a long hiatus 📢🌞❄️

This summer @HannahSCRT delivered a 45 metre deculvert, wetland scrapes and several leaky dams, all on one farm! These have created new #habitat, increased connectivity, biodiversity, slowed flows and improved water quality. Not bad ey?! #cumbria #farminginprotectedlandscapes

Fantastic, but slightly wet day, talking to our patrons about the work we've been doing in the Duddon Valley last week 🌦
It was our annual #Patrons event last week in the #duddon valley, #cumbria. The weather didn't dampen spirits and they were treated to range of interventions that improve water quality, flood storage, river restoration and create new habitats.

Thanks to all who attended our landowner #engagement session yesterday. It was great to share this new de-culvert and scrapes. Not only will these interventions improve water quality but they will create in-channel #habitat too! #Farminginprotectedlandscapes #rivers #Cumbria xitter.cf/SCRiversTrust/status/1…
