Unc says do your favorite follows a favor by reposting content you like. Likes are nice but reposts are better to expand the audience. I will repost like an Unc until I need to touch grass.

I challenge you to like at least 15 posts, comment on 10 posts and repost 5 posts today. Can you get it done?

It costs nothing to like or repost a smaller accounts post, and it could completely make their day, you have no clue what it might mean to someone.

A little thought to start the day. We spend so much time comparing where we are to where others are. But everyone's journey is different. Focus on building a life that makes you happy, not one that looks good to everyone else.

If I was starting investing today with ZERO knowledge, this is what I'd do first. 👇 Here we go! When I first started investing back in 2022, I had no real conviction in any individual stocks. I believed in the AI narrative, but I had no idea which companies would come out on top. Was it $NVDA or was it $GOOG? So I decided to keep things simple and DCA into an S&P 500 index fund. SIMPLE = SUCCESS!! Same amount, every single month. Didn't matter what the market was doing. Then came the 2022 bear market. Did I stop investing? Nope! I just kept buying. Fast forward to October 2024: Invested: £25,400 Portfolio: £31,443 Profit: £6,043 (+23.8% overall) Not too bad for a newbie right? But here's the thing. The biggest takeaway for me wasn't the profit. It was learning to be disciplined, consistent and most importantly, controlling my emotions when the market was falling. IMO, index funds are a great place to start regardless of your age. You get exposure to lots of companies rather than putting all your eggs in one basket. Of course, there's still risk but diversification manages risk. I wanted to get comfortable with the market volatility before trying to pick individual stocks. There's different strategies to DCA, but will leave that for another time. One thing I've learned is that you NEED MONEY TO MAKE MONEY. Even EVERY small amounts adds up over time. Trust me it works!!! So here's my question. Are you investing consistently, or are you waiting for the perfect time to jump in? It is time in the market and not timing the market, this saying is VERY VERY ACCURATE!!! Road to Glory - Journey to $1 Million! If you're on a similar journey, come along for the ride! Let's learn, grow and build wealth together. LFG!

🚨 PORTFOLIO UPDATE 🚨 Actuary by day. Part-time degen by night. Here we go! Thought I'd share where I'm currently at in my investing journey and my road to $1M. Trading 212 - S&S ISA This is my ISA port, which I've been building since the start of 2025. I'm mainly invested in AI, its picks and shovels plays and space stocks. Yessss I love Rocket MONEY - $RKLB, $PLTR, $NVDA and $HOOD. The port has been held back a bit recently by my exposure to photonics stocks. I'm still optimistic about the long term potential and hoping we see a much better 2027 for these plays. Options Trading Account I started options trading around October last year, so I'm pretty happy with how things have gone so far. With options, I like to keep things simple. I genuinely believe simple = success. I mainly focus on selling CC and CSP on a handful of stocks I have strong conviction in. I want to own companies I actually believe in, rather than chasing every opportunity that comes along that yields high premiums. One thing I'm learning and trying to control is that it's easy to get tempted by whatever is performing best right now. But just because something has worked for a year doesn't mean it'll keep working. Something I'm trying to remind myself of! NOW HERE'S MY DILEMMA..... Seeing how my options trading has been going is genuinely tempting me to move more money across from my ISA. Plus I'm not tempted to put anymore money into my 20k ISA allowance. Wild stuff. Part of me is even thinking about going full port into options. Yeah like a degen. But then again, am I just getting carried away by the recent performance? Both portfolios have different strategies and risks, so it's not exactly a straightforward decision. So do I stay patient with my ISA investment, or do I lean more towards investing into options? I'd love to hear what you lot think, especially anyone who's been in a similar position. THE ROAD TO £1M One of the reasons I started Hand of Compound was to document the actual journey towards financial freedom. Not just the final results, but the decisions, lessons and dilemmas along the way. I'm still learning, and hopefully we can all learn something from each other. If you're on your own investing journey, or just interested in building a better financial future, come along for the ride! Let's learn, grow and build wealth together. Not financial advice. Just sharing my journey.
