🚨🚨 S&P 500 UNDER PRESSURE TODAY 🚨🚨
Guys, we're seeing quite a bit of selling in the markets today.
S&P 500 futures are down 25.5 points, trading around 7,699.
Here's what's happening:
More investors are aggressively selling than buying.
Trading activity is 40% higher than normal.
Two important levels to watch:
7,690 - If we fall below this, we could see more selling and bigger price swings.
7,740 - If we climb back above this, it could be a positive sign for the market.
The bears seem to be in control at the moment. Sorry to say.
Personally, I'm keeping an eye on that 7,690 level. If we break below it, things could get interesting.
I'm not panicking, though. Volatility is part of investing, and sometimes these sell offs create good opportunities.
🚨🚨 WHAT'S GOING ON WITH $QQQ 🚨🚨
Guys, just look at these options numbers.
We're seeing some HUGE put activity as tech stocks continue getting hammered.
Here's what's happening:
Put side net premium: $36.54M
Call side net premium: Just $218K 😂
Put premium nearly DOUBLED from $18M at 10am to $36.5M by 10:50am ET.
$QQQ trading around $707.
So what does this mean?
There's clearly a massive imbalance towards puts, which could suggest investors are positioning for further downside or protecting their portfolios.
These numbers are pretty crazy.
With concerns around AI spending, rising debt and recent tech earnings, investors are clearly getting nervous.
I'm not saying we're heading for a crash, but this is definitely something worth keeping an eye on.
Personally, I'm expecting more volatility before things settle down.

🚨🚨🚨 US JOBLESS CLAIMS BEAT EXPECTATIONS 🚨🚨🚨
Well, the US labour market is still showing signs of strength!
Here's the latest numbers (AvsE):
Initial Jobless Claims: 194K vs 200K expected
Previous Week: 200K (revised)
Initial claims fell by 6K.
Continuing Claims: 1.728M, up 25K.
So what does this mean?
Fewer people are filing for unemployment benefits, which is a positive sign.
However, continuing claims are rising, suggesting some people may be finding it harder to get back into work.
The labour market is holding up pretty well, but with inflation still a concern, I don't think the Fed will be rushing to cut interest rates. Not good!
Another interesting set of numbers for the markets to digest.

🚨🚨🚨 THURSDAY MARKET FUTURES ARE LOOKING RED 🚨🚨🚨
Well, after yesterday's green start, it looks like the bears are back again.
Following earnings from $META and $TSLA, US futures are heading lower, and Asian markets aren't looking great either.
US Futures
Nasdaq-100: -0.67%
S&P 500: -0.40%
Dow Jones: -0.31%
Asian Markets
Japan Nikkei: -0.40%
South Korea KOSPI: -0.61%
KOSDAQ: -0.66%
Oil Prices Climbing Again!
WTI: +0.91% ($98.03)
Brent: +1.09% ($110.01)
What's on the agenda today?
We've got more earnings coming from:
$PG - Procter & Gamble
$LMT - Lockheed Martin
$VLO - Valero
$HON - Honeywell
Plus US weekly jobless claims data.
Another interesting day ahead guys.
With earnings season in full swing, oil prices climbing and uncertainty around interest rates, I think we'll continue seeing plenty of volatility.
Personally, I'm more interested in what companies are saying about their future guidance than just whether they've beaten earnings expectations.

🚨🚨🚨 $TSLA Q3 Earnings are out. Mixed results, with revenue slightly missing expectations and operating profits taking a big hit 🚨🚨🚨
Quite a bit to unpack here, so let's get into it.
Q3 Results
Revenue: $28.05B vs $28.25B expected. Miss, down 0.2% YoY.
Adjusted EPS: $0.48 vs $0.45 expected. Beat.
GAAP EPS: $0.22 vs $0.39 last year.
Net income: $787M, down 43% YoY.
Operating income: $718M, down 56% YoY.
Operating margin: 2.6% vs 5.8% last year.
Automotive revenue: $20.56B, down 3% YoY.
Energy revenue: $2.88B, down 16% YoY.
Services & Other revenue: $4.61B, up 33% YoY.
Operating cash flow: $6.3B.
Free cash flow: $1.5B.
Cash and investments: $45.4B.
A few things that stood out to me.
Firstly, profitability is clearly under pressure. Operating income dropped 56% YoY, with margins falling to just 2.6%. Tesla is spending heavily on AI, robotics and R&D, and that's having an impact on its bottom line.
Secondly, vehicle deliveries came in at 486,532, down 2% YoY, while production increased 4% to 464,391 vehicles. Interestingly, Tesla also reported its largest passenger vehicle order backlog in four years.
Thirdly, FSD continues to make progress. Subscriptions increased 67% YoY to 1.74M, with attach rates above 75% for new North American deliveries.
Tesla also launched Cybercab Robotaxi rides in Austin on September 3, while cumulative unsupervised miles increased eightfold QoQ.
The energy business is another area I'm keeping an eye on.
Energy storage deployments reached 13.7 GWh, up 10% YoY, despite energy revenue declining 16%.
Megafactory Texas has also started production, with planned capacity of 50 GWh.
Tesla has also begun production of the Semi in Nevada and Optimus in Fremont.
On the balance sheet, cash and investments increased by $1.9B QoQ to $45.4B, supported by $1.5B in free cash flow.
Overall, I'd say this is a mixed quarter for Tesla.
The decline in profitability is something we can't ignore, especially with operating income falling 56%. But it's encouraging to see positive free cash flow and continued progress across FSD, Robotaxi and energy storage.
For me, Tesla is increasingly becoming more than just an EV company, but we still need to see these investments translate into meaningful revenue and profits.
There's clearly a lot of potential here, but execution is going to be key, been saying this for years now!
🚨🚨🚨 $META Q3 2026 Earnings. Strong revenue growth, but a massive legal charge and AI spending are weighing on profits 🚨🚨🚨
Quite a lot to unpack here, so let's get into the numbers.
Q3 Results
Revenue: $64.60B vs $63.41B expected. Beat, up 26% YoY.
EPS: $3.83 vs $6.80 expected. Miss but up 265% YoY.
EPS excluding legal charge: $7.40 vs $6.80 expected. Beat.
Operating income: $12.99B, down 37% YoY.
Operating margin: 20% vs 40% last year.
Net income: $9.86B, up 264% YoY.
Operating cash flow: $32.79B.
Free cash flow: Negative $2.12B.
CapEx: $34.91B.
Cash and marketable securities: $82.45B.
Guidance
Q4 revenue: $73B to $76B vs $73.57B expected. Another beat at the midpoint.
FY2026 CapEx: $135B to $145B, previously $130B to $145B.
FY2026 expenses: $175B to $179B, including the $9.9B legal charge.
Reality Labs losses: $18B to $19B in 2026, expected to fall to around $15B in 2027.
Management expects strong revenue growth in 2027, although no specific figures were provided.
A few things that stood out to me.
Firstly, the core advertising business is still looking very strong. Ad impressions increased 10% YoY, while the average price per ad grew 14%. That's helping drive the 26% revenue growth.
Secondly, the $9.89B legal charge has clearly impacted profitability. This relates to the settlement involving 52 US attorneys general over teen mental health litigation, with potential total payments of around $18.59B.
Without that charge, operating income would have been $22.88B and EPS $7.40, comfortably beating expectations.
Thirdly, the AI investment is absolutely massive. Nearly $35B in CapEx this quarter alone, which has pushed free cash flow into negative territory despite generating almost $33B in operating cash flow.
Meta has also launched Muse and Muse Wonder, while continuing to invest heavily in AI infrastructure.
Another interesting development is Meta establishing a new non voting Class C common stock.
Management believes the investments are paying off, with the core business remaining strong.
For me, the underlying business still looks very strong. Revenue is growing nicely, advertising continues to deliver and Meta is clearly going all in on AI.
But spending at this level is something I'll be watching closely. Eventually, we need to see these investments translate into meaningful returns and stronger free cash flow.
The big question for me is whether Meta can continue growing at this pace while managing the enormous costs of its AI ambitions.
Let goooo, if you havent got this awesome investor, add him now. Awesome person to have in the community 🔥
