Zuckerberg talked to every AI lab leader before picking Alexandr Wang.
Meta even tried to buy Ilya Sutskever’s SSI, Mira Murati’s Thinking Machines and Perplexity.
His words: “I talked to all the leaders of all the labs, all the heads of research, and I was like, no, Alex is the guy. He’s the fucking guy.”
Even Zuck admits people doubted it. It looked like “the social media guy is working with the data guy.”
It started with one 44-minute call. Two days later, Wang sent him a long note on what he would do in Zuck’s seat. Point one: Meta didn’t need a lot of people. Talent density was the thing that mattered.
Wang dropped out of MIT after a year, started Scale AI at 19 and became the youngest self-made billionaire at 24. In 2025 Meta put $14.3 billion into Scale for a 49% stake and brought him in to run Meta Superintelligence Labs.
This week that lab shipped Muse Wonder Full. The Full version scores 56 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index. Only Claude Opus 5.5 scores higher.

These guys cracked faceless distribution
they could be making
$20k-$30k/mo easily
if they promoted a health & fitness app.
this format also works insanely well
on tiktok slideshows.
and you can literally make an account like this in 3 simple steps:
1. go to arcads
2. drop in your app + the slideshow format you want to copy
3. arcads now automates the carousels for you
try a few different characters and styles
and start posting on 3-4 accounts daily

there is no high status in the corporate world anymore. it is all about endless meetings where people have to justify their existence while the ai does the work
the only reason to get a corporate job is to treat it as funding while you are starting your own thing on the side

With respect to the $META Muse $SHOP discussions, Shopify already tried to compete against $AMZN by building out its own logistics network via the acquisition of 6 rivers.
Shopify couldn't do it. It sold 6 rivers after four years in the logistics game, upon realizing it would take decades and hundreds of billion of dollars in Capex to build something that could rival Amazon's network, or even something functional on a basic level that improves existing network delivery and cost speeds.
There's almost zero chance Meta tries to replicate Amazon's logistic network, and so the network, which is improving notably still, will remain a competitive advantage for Amazon.

For years Zuckerberg has been beholden to Apple.
Meta drove distribution. Apple controlled the platform. Then Apple changed the rules, creating a ~$10B revenue headwind for Meta in 2022 alone.
Zuckerberg has patiently been building his way out.
Muse is his answer.
When an AI agent uses apps on your behalf, you stop opening apps. The App Store stops being a toll booth.
It’s the ultimate power reversal with Apple and ironically feels like an early App Store moment.
It shouldn’t be surprising that one of the most important founder led companies keeps finding a way.
But the market keeps underestimating @finkd ‘s ability to adapt as the world changes.

Amazing how consistently this works.
Just wait for the latest mega-cap tech name to fall out of favor for some silly reason.
Then buy & wait.
Appreciate the $META opportunity, Mr. Market.
Amazing how many times an elite company like this has been on sale. Grateful.
Step 1:
Wait for a mega-cap to fall out of favor.
Step 2:
Buy as the peanut gallery mocks the company.
Step 3:
Wait for the elite business to see sentiment to normalize.
Step 4:
Profit.
Looks like it’s $META o’clock.

Dario Amodei officially says, that RSI is start to happen across the industry, including at Anthropic.
So the rumors were true.
He worries that in 6-12 months AI swarms could take over the whole internet.
What is happening.
The urgent call for slow down officially started. Dario Amodei demands and suggest a plan for unified slow-down. Very sad to read that.
At the same time, he expects abundance and cure for most disease in the next 5-10 years.
„I believe that AI could cure most major diseases in the next 5-10 years, greatly accelerate economic growth rates, create a world of abundance and empowerment, and usher in a renaissance of democracy and freedom.“
