No country in the world taxes 25% of people's gross earnings. Not even Nigeria! Nigeria's new tax law took effect on January 1, 2026, not after the election. The 25% rate applies to taxable income (profits) above ₦50m, not everyone. Stop spreading lies and propaganda.

I don’t know much about the oil and gas industry, but I have a few questions. 1. If I buy fuel from a filling station and the fuel damages my car’s fuel pump or other engine components, can I sue the filling station and claim compensation? 2. Is it possible for a filling station to sell bad fuel without knowing that it could damage the vehicles of their customers? 3. Is there any data on the percentage of vehicles that develop problems after buying contaminated fuel from a filling station, compared to the total number of vehicles that bought fuel there? I want to how this works because I saw shege yesterday 🙏🏿

KOGI STATE GAINS ATTENTION OF THE RENEWED HOPE INFRASTRUCTURE DRIVE AS KOTON KARFE - ABAJI ROAD PROJECT NEARS COMPLETION: The Federal Government, under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, is making steady and commendable progress on the reconstruction and dualisation of the Koton Karfe - Abaji Federal Highway in Kogi State. The Koton Karfe - Abaji road, which links Abuja to Lokoja and other North-Central cities, is a strategic corridor aimed at strengthening transportation, easing movement, and supporting economic development across North-Central Nigeria. Residents and road users can be reassured that the Renewed Hope administration remains fully committed to delivering this critical infrastructure. The project is now at an advanced stage and nearing completion, with efforts being intensified to ensure timely delivery in line with quality standards. The Minister for Works, Sen. David Nweze Umahi, commended the contractor for their professionalism and commitment to quality delivery. My office is committed to fostering community inclusion and support for the project. @woye1 @FMWNIG @officialABAT

I gladly accept my nomination to serve as the Spokesperson of the Kwara South Senatorial APC Campaign Council! The mission is clear: to mobilise, communicate our vision, and work towards delivering President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, SYD, Prince Lekan Adewoye (LAF), Hon. Ajakaiye, Solace, and all APC candidates across Kwara South and Kwara State. This is a call to service, a responsibility I do not take lightly, and an opportunity to contribute to the party’s collective efforts. The task is clear. The work begins now!

LAWMA MD, Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin @muyiwag explains the renewed efforts to tackle waste resurgence in Lagos, including the overhaul of the 20-year-old PSP system, tricycle collection for hard-to-reach communities, a biodigester converting market waste into energy, and the LAWMA Academy’s drive to turn waste into wealth. "Everybody talks about Lagos as if this coastal road is all about Lagos. Somebody spectacularly said that it would not extend beyond Lagos, not knowing that at the time he was saying that nonsense, it had already been extended into the Ogun State area...
