Packing to leave #PAXEast right now reminded me:
Con drop is real.
It’s okay to not be okay.
You are not alone.
Please take care of your post-convention mental & physical health.
Don’t know what it is?
Here’s a great piece by @Halflingspy:

At the end of each year, #PAXUnplugged is a gift. Experiencing the crowds, interviewing game designers, and of course, playing lots of games.
After three very busy days, here are some favorite moments from the convention floor. What were some of yours?

Democrats were so committed to existing rules and group-pleasing that most of our signature work took 2-4 years to get started and will now be ribbon cut by Trump.
The narrative that Trump saved the economy and manufacturing will now live on for a generation.
This rise in US manufacturing construction spend via @JosephPolitano is absolutely mindblowing
So many CHIPS & IRA-fueled factories are about to start opening in January you're not gonna believe it

Sometimes, you play a game that hooks you even after you beat it. For our writer James, that game is Tunic and his quest to complete translating its manual. Our review of Tunic by @FinjiCo, and talking about the mechanic that makes it so special.

NEW: We're running a "Last 50 Days" campaign pressuring President Biden to cancel student debt for older Americans—folks in their 60s+ and 70s+ who are running out of time.
These borrowers shouldn't die with student loans.
@JoeBiden must take action before Trump takes office.
FINALLY.
I have waited for these since I was 12! Eldar forever baby! Who else?! Eldar fans sound off!!

Yet again, normalize gaming dev teams that boost and hype each other up.
Congratulations to @SatisfactoryAF for winning Best PC Game at the #GoldenJoystickAwards!
Coming in 2nd place in the % of votes still feels incredibly special, as it’s you – the community – who voted for us. 🖤
It melts our ice-cold hearts (just a little), and we are proud to have been nominated alongside such amazing games. Thank you!

Jeez I loved this book.
20 years ago: Sharn: City of Towers was published. It details the towers, districts, society, and politics, and also has a bonus soundtrack to suit an Eberron campaign.

ALT Cover of the Dungeons & Dragons Eberron sourcebook Sharn: City of Towers by Keith Baker and James Wyatt. In the central image, a bestial male shifter warrior with flowing hair and roaring face and wearing mismatched armor hurtles through the air, a two-handed axe held overhead. His target is a gnoll, a humanoid hyena with spotted fur and long man, wearing armor plates, drawing an arrow back on a bow. Around them, magical energy crackles and there are glimpses of city towers with greenery and a ship of the air.

Hard to think of a better/more fitting outcome
ALT The Onion has successfully acquired Infowars. The satirical news outlet purchased Alex Jones' right-wing conspiracy empire at a court-ordered auction, the families of the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting announced Thursday. "The dissolution of Alex Jones’ assets and the death of Infowars is the justice we have long awaited and fought for," said Robbie Parker, whose daughter was killed in the 2012 school shooting.
