World Head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Delivers Address to Mark Centenary of London's First Mosque. “The 100-year history of the Fazl Mosque bears witness to the fact that it has always served as a beacon of peace, love and compassion. This example is not exclusive only to this Mosque. Rather, this is the way of all our Mosques. This spirit of openness is inherent to who we are.”

Good news. Your wish has already been fulfilled. The Imam Mahdi you're waiting for has already come, exactly as prophesied. His name was Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), born in Qadian, India in 1835. He claimed to be the Promised Messiah and Imam Mahdi in 1889, and his advent matched the signs given by the Holy Prophet (saw) himself including a solar and lunar eclipse in Ramadan, which occurred exactly as foretold in his lifetime (1894). He came to revive the true, peaceful spirit of Islam and lead people back to God.

Deeply saddened by the killing of Mirza Safdar Mahmood,65, a respected Ahmadi community official in Mandi Bahauddin. He was shot near Kot Ahmad Shah on the evening of Sept 2, 2026 while going to Ahmadi place of worship from his workshop. No one should be targeted for their faith.

“Congresswoman, Sharia law does not replace the Constitution or impose religious law. The US Constitution, to which you swore to protect and honor, affords religious freedom of all faiths. Remember, Sharia law is only applicable to Muslim-majority nations.

To ban an ideology is to first understand it. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community reminds the senator that Sharia law is only applicable in Muslim -majority nations. As the US is predominantly Christian, Sharia law cannot be imposed on a non-Muslim countries.

Ahmadis are Muslims and follow the Qur’an, the Five Pillars and the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Yes, some Muslim institutions reject Ahmadi Muslims. That does not give them the authority to erase our identity or dictate what we believe. In fact, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community was founded as a revival movement within Islam, emphasizing peace, justice, love and the sanctity of life. The claim that Ahmadis in the West “carry water” for an Islamic supremacist agenda is particularly baseless. Our message is the opposite: Love for All, Hatred for None. We advocate freedom of religion and conscience for everyone—including Muslims, Christians, Jews, Hindus, atheists, and Ahmadis. We are Ahmadis. We are Muslims. And we stand for peace, justice and freedom of conscience for all.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community reminds the congressman that Sharia Law is only applicable in Muslim-majority nations. America is nearly 70% Christian. Crucially, the US Constitution protects freedom of religion for all faiths alike. @TrueIslamUSA

Congressman, we agree that American law governs America. But religious freedom is American too. For Ahmadi Muslims, Sharia does not mean replacing the Constitution or imposing religious law on our fellow citizens. It means living by our faith in matters of worship, morality, and personal conduct. We are proud Americans, committed to the law of the land and to religious freedom for all. @TrueIslamUSA

Calling every Muslim who serves in public office a “Trojan horse” is not a defense of America—it is a sweeping accusation against millions of Americans based solely on their faith. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community believes loyalty to one’s country, respect for the law, and service to fellow citizens are compatible with faith. Judge public officials by their actions and commitment to the Constitution—not by their religion. We will not be silent when fellow Americans are collectively branded as threats because they are Muslim. America is strongest when equality, religious freedom, and justice apply to everyone. @TrueIslamUSA
