1 day to go until the Sleep Out! While the team taking on this fundraising event will have comforts like toilets and food, it will be nothing like the harsh, unsafe conditions faced by more than 13,000 people in 2024/5 sleeping rough in London.
Your support provides more than just a bed each night, Hackney Night Shelter offers hot meals,a warm safe place for people to rest as well as support into settled accommodation. Over the past week 4 guest have moved on positively to their own longer term places.
By donating to the sponsored Sleep Out you can help us continue creating routes out of homelessness for another 200 people each year justgiving.com/campaign/hnss…

Our wonderful volunteer Stevie has shared his experience of volunteering at the shelter. He says ‘volunteering here has opened my eyes and heart in the best way and I wholeheartedly recommend taking just one evening out of your busy schedule’. Read here - hackneydoorways.org.uk/stori…
Rounding off this week with a bit of weeding! We’re also happy to be finishing this week with some good news from some of our former guests. One guest who is now settled into his own place came by the shelter this week to say hello and kindly donate a generous bag of tinned food.
Thank-you to our fantastic supporters who have helped us operate in the last year. We're asking today; could make your donation regular? Even small amounts, if regular, enable us to manage our income and help more people in a planned way. rb.gy/oo6ofo
