You certainly love to perform for the cameras…comical you would put this out… Considering during your time in Congress you actively opposed and sabotaged the “Protect and Serve Act” which would have been a “tool” to allow federal prosecutors to take cases where police officers were assaulted, shot, stabbed, murdered out of the local rogue DA’s hands.
Nearly one Houstonian EVERY 10 DAYS is murdered by a repeat felon released back onto the streets. That is unacceptable in Texas. We must use and expand every tool available to remove recalcitrant DAs and keep violent criminals off our streets.

Honored to cast my vote today for @joanhuffman in the Republican primary for Texas Attorney General. She is someone who supports law enforcement in word and deed. Unlike @chiproytx who spent his time in Congress actively blocking the “Protect and Serve Act” which would make assaulting officers a federal crime…while simultaneously yelling into the microphone he “backs the blue”.

💙OFFICER DOWN💙 Late last night, a @houstonpolice Officer was stabbed while encountering a call involving a mental health subject. This attack is a stark reminder of the unpredictable dangers Texas peace officers face every single day — even in moments meant to help someone in need. TMPA stands with this officer, their family, and the entire HPD & @HPOUTX family as we pray for healing, strength, and a full, fast recovery. #TMPA #OfficerDown #TexasLawEnforcement #HPD #PrayersForTheOfficer

#NEW: The Houston Police Officers Union is trying to recruit NYPD officers following the election saying, “NYPD are you disgusted with the election of Zohran Mamdani? Join us! The Houston Police Department is hiring police officers!    Houston Police Union President Doug Griffith tells me, “We believe socialism is going to be bad for law enforcement in New York City. There is opportunity here in Houston for officers to come, make a great life for themselves, the cost of living is a lot less and you can actually do police work and be supported by our mayor and our city council.”
