DONUT ROCK ON MARS Shared my thoughts on donut rock on #Mars. Might be a meteorite or an impact ejecta block. Also told reporter maybe a "drop stone" (from past frozen lake) or an "erratic" (rock dumped here by past glacier). We should fly Ingenuity helicopter to check it out!

APOLLO 8 (Dec 1968) vs ARTEMIS 2 (Nov 2024) #Artemis2 is Artemis' #Apollo8. It will test systems critical to flying to lunar orbit & back. Congrats to Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch & Jeremy Hansen! Nostalgic thoughts too for Frank Borman, Jim Lovell & Bill Anders.

ARTEMIS II CREW REVEAL TODAY! NASA about to announce who will fly on Artemis2. In many ways #Artemis2 will be the #Apollo8 mission of the Artemis program. Special thoughts this morning for Frank Borman, Jim Lovell & Bill Anders. Bill took this pic of Earthrise. Who's going next?

Picking a safe & interesting site is key for human missions to #Mars. Narrowing our options down from the many interesting spots on the Red Planet is hard. Some key criteria include water/ice access, solar exposure & dust content! Here's more info: blogs.nasa.gov/redplanetdisp…
