If your school offers German, you have access to a language with so much in common with English, relatively easy pronunciation & familiar words, so many practical applications, a gateway to Swedish, Dutch & even Icelandic. German is a language that genuinely rewards your efforts.

Having a new term clear out and have two boxes of various Classics books for anyone interested in picking them up from Hamilton. Might be useful for some BGE Classics or Advanced Higher dissertations.

Fantastic morning welcoming enthusiastic learners from local schools to celebrate #Languages @HC_Scotland. Astounded and delighted by popularity of our #Latin workshops. Heartening to see such interest in languages ancient and modern. @scottishcilt
