#DidYouKnow: in 1950, a bear cub was rescued from the Capitan Gap fire in Lincoln National Forest, New Mexico and he was later named my living symbol. Thanks to local crews who saved him, he lived out the rest of his days at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, DC.
