Mohammed Baharoon: BRICS must bring Global South into the Global Economy 'Talking from my own observations as an analyst, BRICS had a lot of promises, and part of that promise is to create a network of new emerging economies. Because that was the whole concept of the BRICS Plus direction, the inclusion of different economies in the region, creating a new momentum where people, the UAE, it's Egypt, it's Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia. That's the new momentum. Until now, that momentum did not achieve. And I guess it's too early to judge it right now. The direction also within BRICS, there are a lot of discussions whether BRICS should continue to be smaller or expand to be bigger. And if it's not going to expand, so why did it expand already? What is the criteria?
