We both served for many years on the AMPAS Nicholl Screenwriting Fellowship Committee. Unsurprisingly, her insights into scripts and character were absolutely brilliant. What a loss of an incredible woman. My condolences to Laurette and her entire family.
What an honor to receive the Edgar Rice Burroughs Legacy Award last night -- with thanks to the brilliant director, and my good friend, Ernest Dickerson, who presented it to me!
One of the very best in the business! Happy Birthday, Shane!
Happy birthday to the brilliant special effects artist and puppeteer Shane Mahan! Mahan is an industry expert who worked on #TheTerminator, #T2JudgmentDay, and #Aliens while at Stan Winston Studios (@SWinstonSchool).
I'm truly honored to receive an award named for such a seminal Sci-Fi author.
We are excited to announce that @GunnerGale will be receiving the Edgar Rice Burroughs Legacy Award at the Tarzana Film Festival this October! The award celebrates her innovation and dedication to storytelling.

She's absolutely brilliant!
Happy birthday to the incredible Michelle Williams! Williams played Arlene in our 1999 political satire film #Dick!
What a talent, and such a great person. If you haven’t seen the documentary about Diane Warren (which was nominated for an Academy Award), RELENTLESS, check it out.
Happy birthday to the Oscar-nominated songwriter Diane Warren! Warren wrote the song "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" for #Armageddon, which was nominated for Best Original Song at the Oscars.
Fun film IMHO and how great it was to work with such an incredible cast including Mandy Patinkin and the late James Caan and Terence Stamp!
Our film rec for this weekend is our 1988 film #AlienNation! It's been three years since Aliens landed on Earth and a detective and his alien partner must investigate a crime ring in the criminal underworld.

Absolutely, and what a great guy, too!

Pete Kleinow was such an amazing guy. His work creating the Terminator stop-motion animation was spectacular, and then I was blown away watching him play pedal steel guitar at the Palomino. Truly one of a kind. I was blessed to have known him.
Remembering the extraordinary Peter Kleinow today on his birthday. Kleinow was best known as "Sneaky Pete Kleinow", the pedal steel guitarist from The Flying Burrito Brothers, but he was also a talented stop motion artist who worked on #TheTerminator and #T2JudgmentDay!

His were some of the most remarkable performances on the silver screen. What a privilege it was to work with him!
Remembering the brilliant Terence Stamp whom we lost one year ago today. The Oscar-nominated actor played William Harcourt in our 1988 film #AlienNation.
