Capitalism as we know it is dead. Milton Friedman Capitalism without guard rails has imploded. That’s why we are seeing the emergence of a new stakeholder-based capitalism. Its now as important to deliver a strong stakeholder-return as a shareholder-return.

Capitalism is dead

This has been on the desk of @senatemajldr since January. The house passed the Bipartisan Background Check Act in February. Please ask your Senator to return to Washington to bring this bill to a vote. #SenateVOTENow @realDonaldTrump govtrack.us/congress/bills/1…

As MLK said, “the greatest tragedy was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people.” We all must speak out when the President stoops to divisive rhetoric as he did yesterday. Real leadership seeks to unify, not to incite hatred.

Hate armed with a gun is terrorism, plain and simple. We can no longer ignore the rise in hate and it should be clear that our gun laws have failed us all. There is no single solution to gun violence, but doing nothing will only result in more senseless deaths. #ElPaso #Dayton

.@CNN pundit being allowed to say on television that mental illness and first-person video games may cause mass shootings. This is NOT accurate. Please don’t speculate about the possible causes of gun violence in America. IT. IS. EASY. ACCESS. TO. GUNS. everytownresearch.org/gun-vi…
