Produced by @Basement_Films

Back in 2022, I wrote and produced an R&D run @SpaceArtsCentre of a play called GUINEA PIGS. It was a semi-autobiographical comedy/drama set in the 1980s. /1

I wrote a bit of a follow-up for Exposure Press on @GuineaPigsAPlay with my thoughts on my first time writing/producing/acting in a autobiographical piece discussing a topic that's deeply sensitive to many in the nuclear community

First they came for our right to protest.
Then they came for our right to strike.

The right to strike is the last resort for workers.
We won't let the government take it away from us.
If you're interested in nuclear stuff, our creator, @ElinDoyle will be on the panel 👇🏽

It’s being reported Rishi Sunak could push for a vote on anti-strike laws within days
Sign the @eiecampaign #RightToStrike petition NOW and tell this Government it can do one

Shocking new legislation intends to rob workers’ of their fundamental democratic right to strike, forcing them to work against their will
Well absolute boll**** to that. Sign the @eiecampaign Right to Strike petition & tell this Government it can do one

We cannot let Tories break the Unions
They are trying to remove many workers rights through removal of EU law and the Bill of Rights - as well as anti Union legislation
The time to stay strong is NOW

Clip of Dad in the late 80s describing Britain's 1st hydrogen bomb. He would've been 85 on Friday but we lost him 20 years before. I shall remember him today, as I do every day. He was, and is, very loved.

Deeply personal so why share? Because it's important & doesn't just affect me
@GuineaPigsAPlay is fictional but written very much from my own experience

#SuellaBraverman calling protesters "militants and extremists" - semantically packed language many associate with terrorism. She's urged #Police to take tougher action.
This makes the police a political tool and us a police state.
It's begun. Wake up. It's happening.
