We're can't wait to see Lucy Reynolds again for our #SummerReadingChallenge launch tomorrow! If you'd like to join the #StoryGarden book with the link below!
Surrey Libraries UK@SurreyLibraries3 Jul 2025
EVENT MOVED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER Sadly, due to rain and strong winds, our #SummerReadingChallenge event will not be taking place at Newlands Corner. We're still determined to celebrate, however, so we've moved our exciting events indoors! Read More for booking details ⬇️ You can join in the fun at two of our libraries in the Surrey Hills area: @DorkingLibrary will be hosting three Storytelling sessions with the incredible John Kirk, who always reminds us that stories really can be found wherever you look for them! And @GuildfordLib will be hosting three author events with the amazing Lucy Reynolds, who will be reading from her book ‘We Are Family’, with a book signing following each one. You can book for both of these events here: eventbrite.com/cc/summer-rea… The Summer Reading Challenge runs from this Saturday, 5th July to 13th September, so there’s plenty of time for children to complete the Challenge of reading 6 books, collecting rewards along the way. For more information on the Summer Reading Challenge, or to see what your local Surrey Library has planned this summer, visit our website: surreycc.gov.uk/libraries @readingagency @SurreyNews #SummerReadingChallenge #StoryGarden #SummerFunForKids #SurreyLibrariesUK
