Today, the Joint Standing Committee on Road Safety will hold a public hearing for its inquiry into interventions to reduce road trauma in regional NSW caused by speeding, fatigue, drink and drug driving.

Priority attention to veterans in the budget is long overdue and I welcome the @AustralianLabor @AlboMP Government’s focus on supporting veterans and their families. Thank you @mattkeogh for being such a strong advocate!
I've covered every budget since 1998. They normally don't leave me angry. But a $6.5b decision forced on the current government contained in last week's budget is still upsetting me .. theage.com.au/politics/feder…
This March, I am trotting 96km to support @SoldierOnAust to help our brave veterans and their families.
Why 96km? Because it’s the length of the Kokoda Track to honour the courage and sacrifice of our veterans, both past and present.
