This is a paper I post every six months as it is worth rereading; the 18 reasons complex systems fail.
Complex systems fail for complex reasons, and only adaption & learning by organizations, as well as individual "actions on the sharp end" keep us safe. researchgate.net/publication…

I don't understand the fascination with graphs, the nodes-and-edges kind. Everything in life is a graph and that's just a fact. 🙃

How to use that graph package they no one can use. Graphvis?

If you like an open source project but feel like their documentation is lacking, write an unofficial guide and share it on GitHub.
Don't have enough spare time for this? Well, yeah—exactly.

Strong dislike: "we don't need 'academic' topics like graphs." Objects form graphs; manipulating objects is thinking about graphs. Module imports and function calls form graphs. The ordering dependencies between your code changes over time form a graph. Everything is graphs.

Awesome breakdown of PSGraph. I am such a visual person, having this module to render graphs of the way things connect to each other has been great for me. If anyone is interested in a longer deeper dive to see what is possible: youtube.com/watch?v=8GvrVN0_…

The WireViz graph generator is working.
A Python-based generator outputs a GraphViz file that can be rendered into beautiful SVG and PNG images. In the future, a parser / GraphViz extension will make documenting wiring harnesses even easier.

CMake can generate a massive dependency graph using graphviz, which is fun but unreadable.
ninja lets you browse the dependency graph in your web browser via "ninja -t browse"...waaay more useful.

Look at this...it's basically got the same interface as networkx. I initially created a graph in networkx because networkx can slurp dataframes and then export .dot But now I can not only skip the networkx step, but I have more control over my graphviz specification.

The teacher was vague about 6 so Martha assumed the teacher intended it was an element from the quadratic integer ring Z[a + b sqrt(-5)] , clearly no unique factorization domain, so Martha immediately thinks of 6 = [1 + sqrt(-5)] [1-sqrt(-5)].
