In these desperate times, please be careful whose health advice you trust. Those in Zim can check the Doctors' Retention Register here: mdpcz.co.zw/mdpcz_find/_f/_f… If someone's not listed, are they trustworthy? What's their motive for dispensing advice or medication? #COVID19

This is an insult. We ask for PPE, a safe and functional work environment and a liveable wage and this is the response. Absolutely disgusting. @KusoteraTM @drjaytee87

America, please make @ewarren your next president.
Any suggestions for someone (me) looking to learn database skills? Software, languages, learning resources… Mostly for personal projects for now. Must be able to run locally offline.

Hi @EMAeep @cohsunshinecity @NorthHarare. Are people allowed to drill boreholes in our wetlands? This is happening just off Gaydon Road (Tornado Drilling).

Hi @cohsunshinecity. Is the city taking any action against abusers of our wetlands? The signs don't seem to be much of a deterrent.

My close friends know that I am an avid mountain biker. I also happen to believe that #Zimbabwe has a unique opportunity to embrace cycling. Our climate and relatively flat cities are perfect for cycling. We need new policies which will encourage people to ride 4 work & play.
The best of biking. 📕 Read more: wef.ch/2IuHwoI

We can't just complain that our roads are full of holes, and our rubbish is never collected. We have agency and we can DO something about these problems. But it's not for free, and if we aren't prepared to pay, then for sure noone else will.

This only works if we all get involved, but if we can harness our resources we can fix our city.
We are up to a total commitment of 40k ZWL per month! Thanks to all who have pledged to support this initiative. There is a long way to go, but if we all pull together we can do this!

Govt could pay 1000 doctors a salary of US$1,300 per month for the next year if it chose to divert the US$16 million it wants to use to buy luxury cars for ministers to healthcare. We have the money, our priorities are just wrong. Two months no doctors in hospitals.

Morning @EMAeep @cohsunshinecity @NorthHarare. Saw this Fortuner AEF 2533 dump a trailer of rubbish into the open area along Hogerty Hill this morning. Can we have him prosecuted?

Zimbabwe loses 300,000 Ha of tree cover every year according to the Forestry Commission. These need to be put back - in our country it is not a matter of converting grasslands to forest, or of western bla bla, but simply of putting the right trees back where they belong.
So remember when Ethiopia planted 350 million trees in a single day? Turns out this may not have been such a good idea - which would have been obvious, if the western institutions pushing this mass tree-planting had bothered to ask local researchers. mg.co.za/article/2019-10-31-…
