Applications are OPEN! 🥳 Reminders:
• North America only in Q1 (we’ll be back in Europe/Africa & hopefully Latin America in Q2!) 🌎
• There’s no advantage to getting your application in early. Take your time and submit thoughtful answers to the 2 long form questions 🧠

Question🙋♀️:
What do you use for managing UI feedback when launching a new feature?
Scenario: I have my feature on staging & I ask my team to test it. The feedback is a mixture of text and screenshots and sometimes video.

We have an open position to work directly with me at Igalia. I highly recommend the company, it is the best place I've worked so far:
Great mission, nice work-life balance, surrounded by awesome people, where I feel heard and valued.
We are hiring a developer to work on our internal web applications. It's a dynamic position for people who enjoy being part of all the steps of sw development.
If you want to join our team and help support and empower Igalians, don't hesitate to apply!

Over the past few years, I've heard feedback that folks wish there was a learning journey available for using the Modern CSS tutorials to build up their CSS skills.
💜 Today I'm very excited to share the pre-launch of Modern CSS Challenges!

We are sad to inform our community that Marina Zhurakhinskaya died on Saturday. @Outreachy wouldn't exist w/out her dedication, which continued until her last day. sfconservancy.org/news/2022/…

This is heartbreaking. Past data tells us that preventing access to safe abortions leads to literally women dying.
The Supreme Court has voted to strike down Roe v. Wade, according to an initial draft majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito and obtained by POLITICO.
“We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled,” Alito writes. politico.com/news/2022/05/02…

I’m getting really concerned that enough people aren’t worried about NHS privatisation, and that our campaign might need to come to an end. I’m devastated about this. This government have dismantled the NHS in many ways for 12 years, and now they’re accelerating privatisation…

Hey Twitter, I don't usually do this, but I'd like to share with you some personal updates that have happened around us recently.
I am currently in Shanghai. The city has been locked down trying to control and "Zero-out" Omicron.

Just got my period unexpectedly (a week early 😖) at the library and started panicking before I remembered the period poverty scheme @QUBelfast
Without this scheme I’d of had to pack up and go home. Sharing because periods are normal and should never impact on education!

ALT Demo: Is cross-origin fetch allowed? From https:/web.stanford.edu/class/cs253/: const res = await fetch('https://axess.stanford.edu') const data = await res.body.text() console.log(data) No! Would be a huge violation of Same Origin Policy. Any site in the world could read your grades if you're logged into Axess in another tab!
