The lord of Twitter apparently decreed that some microservices were bloat and had to be cut, and a bunch of people that had two factor authentication (the thing where you get a text message with a code that you log in with) has been broken ever since.

Earlier Elon Musk tweeted that Twitter will be turning off “bloatware”. Now: no one with two-factor authentication based on their phone can log in because one of the microservices turned off was the one that texts you your 2FA code. lmao.
