Today I was asked, what do teachers do in the summer with 2 months off? I thought carefully before responding, the school year is like a marathon so the first month of summer is spent recovering and the second month is spent training and preparing for the next one. 😉 Point made! – at Cutler, FL

Don't always rush to help students on their classwork. Don't rush to help them with their social issues. We need to let students struggle through things sometimes, stand on their own two feet, in order to develop students that are resilient and problem-solvers. #growthmindset

THIS is profound! As parents & educators, we hold such a delicate responsibility as we engage with our children. Think before you speak & act. Be thoughtful & kind! #BeKindEdu #KidsDeserveIt #TLAP #NCSW19

Teachers don’t always need to inspire kids. Sometimes, it’s enough just to be nice to them. It’s hard to be a kid.
