We responded to another bridge strike in @cityburlington today. Arm on excavator was not stowed low enough for clearance under the bridge during transport & struck the bridge.
Impact so forceful that all load securement failed & machine jettisoned.

In May 2022, Abhijeet Singh, Gurkaran Singh and Khushveer Toor killed Abbotsford couple Arnold De Jong, 77, and Joanne De Jong, 76, in a financially motivated home invasion. The couple was bound; Arnold’s head was duct-taped shut and he suffocated, while Joanne was beaten and her throat slit. The three were convicted of first-degree murder in May 2026. On Oct. 19, 2026, Justice Brenda Brown ruled the Criminal Code ban on the faint-hope clause for multiple murderers unconstitutional as cruel and unusual punishment, potentially allowing parole review after 15 years instead of 25. Sentencing is delayed to February 2027.

Most of you have absolutely no idea just how advanced our technology has become because most of you refuse to step outside of your 6ft sphere of influence to learn anything new. Thats how something as simple as synchronized compressed air thrusters can fascinate you so much.
We've had some very advanced things for some time now, but most of it is kept secret for national security until it can be unveiled in a way where it is safe but in a way the knowledge can be protected/preserved.
