Nice 🔥 This illustrates how you can build true cryptographic privacy on top of the Internet Computer. There are lots of privacy narrative protocols these days where operators have backdoors, or which rely on weaker hardware-based privacy (TEEs). Here, performance + real privacy
The wait is over shielded $ICP is now live.
Every transaction is private, even from the node providers running the network. Your send history, balances, and activity stay protected.
We built it to go beyond SEV’s limits, using pure cryptography so proofs are generated in your browser and verified on-chain without exposing anything.
$BTC is coming next.

Forget the hype. Which blockchains are actually being used?
The latest TPS data tells a very different story.
$ICP leads with 2,240 transactions per second, ahead of Solana at 1,663.
Then comes a massive drop.
$BNB Chain: 205 TPS.
$TRON: 177 TPS.
$SUI: Just 97 TPS.
And here's the twist.
Sui recently demonstrated 40.6 MILLION TPS through offchain tunnels, yet its live onchain activity is nowhere near that figure.
There's a HUGE difference between what a blockchain can handle and what people actually use.
Which chain do you think is the most undervalued?

INSIGHTS⚡️ The Internet Computer plugin is now in the ChatGPT directory.
Users can read data from opted-in ICP apps and trigger non-financial actions across several of them in one conversation. We see this as distribution that does not require a new wallet or a new interface.
If the agent can reach the app, the app has a new front door. $ICP @dfinity 🤖💬

"With cloud engines, apps run without cycles, and now, deploying to the shared Internet Computer subnets will be a breeze too. Agents can show users QR codes, so they can pay with their credit cards, avoiding token friction. $ICP is becoming mainstream agentic infrastructure."

The easiest way to create a new OISY wallet.
Open oisy dot com, create your account with Internet Identity or Google, make a passkey,
That's the whole setup.
There's nothing to download, because OISY runs in your browser.
Add it to your home screen if you want it to open like an app.
ICP Makes Credit Card Payments Easier For Developers
Dfinity (@dfinity) $ICP founder Dominic Williams (@dominic_w) highlighted a new way to buy Internet Computer cycles using credit cards.
The latest icp-cli update lets users scan a QR code and pay through Stripe.
Cycles are then credited to their Cycles Ledger account within seconds, according to Dfinity COO Josh Drake (@JoshHQ).

🛠️ $ICP DEVELOPERS GET NEW ASYNC TOOLS FOR C++ CANISTERS
The community-maintained icpp-pro 7.0.0 release candidate introduces asynchronous calls using C++20 coroutines.
It also adds capabilities including HTTPS outcalls and threshold signing.
The practical benefit: developers can build more connected applications with C++, expanding the tooling available beyond Motoko and Rust.

Internet Computer ($ICP) connects its platform to a “self-writing internet” and app monetization through Caffeine. The mechanism is direct: software becomes something the network can host and extend, rather than something a company rents out.

The cycles you are buying are created from ICP (i.e. when you pay using your cc, behind the scenes, you are buying ICP, that's being transformed to cycles). This is a convenience layer over the decentralized network that removes token processing friction for mainstream users.

JUST IN: Internet Computer joins ChatGPT’s plugin directory
The $ICP ecosystem now lets ChatGPT read data and make changes across multiple ICP apps from a single conversation, with the project citing an $852B valuation following a $122B funding round.

Internet Computer recorded a weekly revenue high of $86,172, its first week above $85,000, equivalent to roughly $4.48 million annually if sustained.
Meanwhile, ICP trades near $3.06, with $2.90–$2.95 support key for a potential double-bottom rebound toward $3.50; a four-hour close below $2.80 would invalidate the setup.

Internet Computer uses a reverse-gas model: developers preload smart contracts, called canisters, with cycles, so end users pay no transaction fees.
Cycles come from converting $ICP, which burns the token. @dfinity launched the token on May 10, 2021.
