Tinkering with updating our moderation bot to use Jev from typesafe.ai to apply custom chat message rules. Seems like a good fit and interesting to see how it compares to LLM classification.

We've been publishing apks for our Android app for manual install for some time. Just jumping through all the hoops to get a version in the Play store for testing now. Getting close to review time!

Just breaking ground on the iOS native version. Will have similar challenges to Android in terms of limiting the feature set. But I think we have a much better idea of what we're up against this time and a lot of the underpinnings are already done.

We've said it before but it bears repeating: we will have to disable quite a few features to stand a chance with the app stores (at least to start with). There will always be a "full fat" manual apk version though (most recent version here github.com/open-chat-labs/op…)
