Delight from visitors at Bromley Road, as a hardworking display sees them pick up point at the champions to pip @BradfieldRFC to runners-up in @ESBLfootie Division 3. The hosts had most of 2nd half chances, but fine rearguard denied them #ESBL

Just over an hour away from the early evening KO in @ESBLfootie. En route as this goes out up the A12 to Colchester, covering the Division 3 match, between champions @GasRecFC v @FrintonWaltonFC who need a draw to pip @BradfieldRFC to 2nd.

Gas get the win they need to be champions of @ESBLfootie Division 3, and secure successive promotions.
Another penalty doubled their lead after the break, but the hosts got one back then threatened an equaliser, before a 3rd sealed it. #ESBL

The revival of @GasRecFC continues, as a second straight promotion is capped off with the title. They made hard work of this at times, and had a wobble after #Flitch scored, but got the job done in the end to cap off a great season. Goodbye from Alcott Fields in Stebbing. #ESBL – at Stebbing, East

Still the only Saturday side in the administrative County of Essex with a 100% league record. Just two games to go for Gas - next up, a Boxford side needing a result in race for runners-up.

That’s a classy response. You’re right, the young lads played almost a complete performance - but I enjoyed the banter your defenders gave each other, in the face of adversity, and how they kept going. No6 was particularly amusing, played well with a smile on his face.

Close to the perfect dream debut at Senior level for #BuckhurstHill, who seemed to do everything but score. Frustration for them, but also signs they can mix it with most. A much changed #Harwich escape with a point, but something to build on. Goodbye from the Royal Oak. #ECL – at Harwich, England
