Australia is one of only two economies in the world with triple A credit ratings, with both the jobless rate and inflation below 5% and government debt below 19% of GDP. The other is Switzerland. Australia is the only triple-A economy with interest rates in the optimum band of 3.75% to 5% and wealth per adult above $865,000. Yet the media companies which happily supported the re-election of the disastrous former Coalition are now mercilessly attacking Labor.

One Nation are falsely claiming the riots in France are caused by migration. This is a deliberate lie aimed to incite hatred and division. The protestors in France are students protesting about underfunded and overcrowded schools.

It has been a disgusting six years in the body politic of Victoria, where politics has been dangerously weaponised by a rancorous media desperate to foment intense hatred against two former premiers and to create space for extremists. These extremists now seek to be elected.

Remember during covid when a wannabe politician was driving around Melbourne with a hanging device on the back of a ute in an attack on dan andrews and peta credlin giving out dan Andrews home address on live radio .both incidents could have ended badly 😢

Now that we're watching this horror in Wangaratta unfold, take time to think of the #hate that's still been directed @ Dan Andrews, who left politics yrs ago. Or Jacinta Allan, who's copped bucketloads. MSM, particularly Murdoch, have much to answer for.

Despite being a trained lawyer Jess Wilson doesn't get that it's not all right to stack Supreme Court with judges to do your bidding, or to manipulate a Royal Commission by adding more pliable Commissioners. #springst #auspol theguardian.com/australia-ne…

This Liberal charlatan is telling voters to wait until after state elections before handing guns in. Liberals are saying they will reverse their decision to buy back guns if they win state elections. This really does show you can never trust a Liberal.

So the politically biased reserve bank board are finally admitting that Trumps illegal war and the resulting massive increases in fuel costs are what’s causing inflation. It’s not rocket science. You don’t need a nearly $1 million per salary to work that out. Only to clean the political bias out of your RW glasses. Inflation was booming in 2022 while the LNP was in government. RBA board did absolute nothing. Question begs why?

I mean, One Nation has had a policy on its website since 2022 pledging to “seek every opportunity” to roll back abortion laws. Barnaby Joyce recently addressed an anti-abortion rally. Its Victorian leader has attended anti-abortion rallies. Its NSW leader said “we want to stop” abortion rights. And Senator Malcolm Roberts says he’ll push the party to adopt a blanket abortion ban. At some point, we should probably take them at their word.

The Coalition Paradox - shouting for cost savings while condemning every single saving proposal. Not so much a paradox, perhaps, but more just endless hypocritical, destructive negativity. #insiders

Imagine thinking the leader of a political party who received a free plane from the richest person in Australia and complained about minimum wage increases for Australian workers is on the side of the Aussie battler.

US budget deficit is US$2.0 trillion; 6.0% of GDP. If Australia had a budget deficit of 6.0% of GDP in FY2026, it would be A$175 billion - instead, it was A$22 billion (0.8% of GDP) Only once since WW2 has Australia had a budget deficit above 6% of GDP; and that was delivered by Treasurer Frydenberg duing the pandemic

Less money on tolls, more money in your pocket. That’s my pledge to people like Aaron who spend thousands on toll roads to run a business or get to work. Labor will cap tolls at $30 a week in 2027. Cars, utes, vans, motorbikes. You’ll save as much as $5,000 per vehicle. Only under a re-elected Labor Government.
