I met Jeff Ivan in the spring of 2020.
At that time he was taking the entrepreneurial leap that would eventually lead to his co-founding and becoming President of Soilgenic Technologies.
It was shortly thereafter he was given a fateful diagnosis: cancer.
50% of us in developed nations will be diagnosed with cancer at some point.
And just like Soilgenic is toiling to make fertilizers more efficient, a very important job in a world where the Haber-Bosch process sustains 50% of the population, so is cancer technology always advancing and increasing folks survivability/thrivability.
The cutting edge treatment that saved Jeff's life mirrors the advancements he is bringing about in the fertilizer world via Soilgenic.
Here is his story ...

Most of the way that we see things is opinion, and not truth.
Whether we choose to see an endless horizon of opportunity through rose coloured glasses, or a bleak future of challenges, it's often a mindset decision.
Changing our view requires enough courage to venture beyond the horizon to experience new things, meet new people, and apply a different lense to what we already think we know.
For Steve Larocque, a fresh perspective is the theme of his entrepreneurial journey.
