I have fought to keep League City affordable by making sure our city government lives within its means and puts taxpayers first. During my time on City Council, we have cut the property tax rate by 40%, increased the homestead exemption for seniors and disabled veterans, made new development pay its own way, and worked to make city government more efficient and responsive. League City is my hometown, and I want to make sure the families who built their lives here can afford to stay here. I will continue fighting for lower taxes, responsible growth, and a city government that works for the people it serves.

First 100 Days! From Parks to Plazas, Budgets and Bisons, to Trader Joes and Furry Friends - these first 100 days had it all! Countless community celebrations, grand openings, and the privilege of meeting so many incredible people who make Frisco such a special place. To the residents and business owners in Frisco, Thank You. Your excellence 🏆 is what makes our city extraordinary and I’m proud to be your Mayor. One last thing… join us for a special Coffee with the Mayor tomorrow morning at the new 4th Street Plaza in the #RailDistrict. And bring a sweater! 😳 #First100Days #Grateful #FriscoTX

Keeping League City safe has always been one of my top priorities on City Council. During my time in office, we have made significant investments in public safety, including increasing the number of first responders by nearly 30%. Those investments matter. League City was ranked the second-best place to live in Texas by U.S. News & World Report, and maintaining the quality of life our residents enjoy requires continued commitment to the people who protect our community. I am proud to stand behind our police officers, firefighters, and all our first responders who serve and protect League City every day. We must continue giving them the resources they need to do their jobs and keep our community safe.

Mel Brooks taught us the best way to deal with bad ideas is to laugh at them. So I made a little musical about socialism’s big comeback tour. Same old show, same bad ending, just with catchier songs this time.

Close to 15 years ago my son Zach asked me why everything in Frisco was nice except our downtown. I didn't have an answer. Tonight we cut the ribbon on 4th Street Plaza in the Frisco Rail District. Now I do. 🧵 @CityOfFriscoTx @visitfriscotx

Since we launched SeeClickFix in July 2024, the @CityOfMidland has closed more than 22,000 requests submitted by residents. Nearly 1,000 were closed in September alone. Potholes, large-item trash pickup, parking violations, traffic concerns, weeds, litter and animal issues were among the things Midlanders reported. We launched SeeClickFix to give Midlanders a better way to tell us what you're seeing in your neighborhoods and give City staff a better way to respond and keep track of the work. Those reports go directly to the City department responsible for handling them, and residents can follow along as their request is acknowledged, assigned and completed. In our user survey, 96% said they would use SeeClickFix again, 89% said it was easy or very easy to use, and 83% said they received updates throughout the process. See a pothole, missed large-item pickup, parking violation or another issue around Midland? Open the SeeClickFix Midland app or visit the City's website, tell us what you're seeing and mark the location. You can even add a photo. Once you submit it, the request goes to City staff and you can track its progress through SeeClickFix.

I was glad to join the @EmbraceDowntown Construction Cone Day on this beautiful fall afternoon in America’s Hometown! It’s great to see kids and families enjoying the construction-themed activities and getting a closer look at the exciting progress happening in downtown #Noblesville.
