Domestic abuse can also affect young people. The #16DaysOfActivism campaign is a good opportunity to highlight sources of help and support so if you know anyone who might need to reach out, @GDASS_ can offer group work & 1:1 support for young people experiencing domestic abuse

I welcome this @MoJGovUK announcement.
The Unwanted Prisoner Contact Scheme rightly stops perpetrators from abusing victims from prison.
For too long, the onus has been on survivors of domestic abuse to protect themselves.
I will continue to work with govt to change that.
Nobody should have to face further harassment from their abuser.
We’re protecting victims of domestic abuse by:
🛑 Tagging offenders on release
🛑 Preventing prisoners contacting victims from inside prison
