We have won some more time. The chicken central planners at the ECB have pushed out the introduction of the digital euro central bank digit control to January 2029, in time for their global reset of 2030 and war with Russia. Either due to military emergency or the brewing banking crisis in Germany, once introduced the screws will be tightened immediately. You will have lost control over all your money in eurozone banks and won't be able to switch it into assets outside the euro. The pilot will launch next year and has to be stopped. Last chance saloon. Time for demonstrations outside the ECB. Against totalitarianism, digital fascism and communist collectivisation & expropriation of assets. Which NGOs are on our side? Or are they ALL system shills?
The digital euro was a conspiracy theory for years. Now it has a launch date: January 1st, 2029. The European Central Bank confirmed it themselves. The pilot starts in 2027 and 36 payment companies are already building it. Still think it’s a conspiracy theory?

A system supposedly designed to sell us products has become an extraordinarily powerful mechanism for conducting surveillance and delivering spyware. And the truly unsettling question isn’t merely how Discover-Tech managed to operate undetected for years. It’s how many other companies are doing precisely the same thing. I’m willing to bet it’s not just the one that was just exposed. The infrastructure built to track you so it can sell you things is now being used to attack you. Because of course it is.

"AI raises the stakes... people share their most personal information with AI assistants with little visibility into who can read it, how it’s processed, or even which model is responding. Too often, privacy comes down to a provider saying “trust us.” That’s privacy perfume"

Leo, the AI assistant in Brave, now offers end-to-end encrypted chat with GLM 5.3 Flash! Your browser encrypts each prompt before it leaves your device, so only an attested Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) can decrypt it. It's industry-leading privacy you can verify.

This is the guy whose work had been flagged by central banks decades ago as being useful for them - to hide how they actually run monetary policy & to tie economists down in useless debates about how many angels can fit on the tip of a pin, while having nothing to do with reality
Some call it a bible, others are puzzled by the diminished role of monetary aggregates. And certainly, it is worth reading. A thought-provoking book by a Nobel Prize winner! "Interest and Prices: Foundations of a Theory of Monetary Policy" by Michael Woodford. amzn.to/47P5sho "Interest and Prices seeks to provide theoretical foundations for a rule-based approach to monetary policy suitable for a world of instant communications and ever more efficient financial markets. In such a world, effective monetary policy requires that central banks construct a conscious and articulate account of what they are doing. Michael Woodford reexamines the foundations of monetary economics, and shows how interest-rate policy can be used to achieve an inflation target in the absence of either commodity backing or control of a monetary aggregate. The book further shows how the tools of modern macroeconomic theory can be used to design an optimal inflation-targeting regime--one that balances stabilization goals with the pursuit of price stability in a way that is grounded in an explicit welfare analysis, and that takes account of the "New Classical" critique of traditional policy evaluation exercises. It thus argues that rule-based policymaking need not mean adherence to a rigid framework unrelated to stabilization objectives for the sake of credibility, while at the same time showing the advantages of rule-based over purely discretionary policymaking." amzn.to/47P5sho
