Open less than 24-hours, the new Somerville Community Path extension is already packed!
This was nearly scrapped from the Green Line Extension project but local leaders and residents led the charge to keep it in the plans. 🚲 🏃♀️ 🐶

Wow. The Green Line Extension Path + Somerville Community Path will be transformative. Bypassing so many busy roads, these connect to lots of stations, businesses and homes. And connects to the Minuteman trail to Bedford and the future Mass Central to Northampton. – at Cambridge, MA

Very sad to see this morning that there was a significant fire last night in the building housing the Bike Stop right next to the #minutemanbikeway in Arlington. yourarlington.com/arlington-…

Wow. Very cool. But talk about getting out of your comfort zone - I would not be comfortable crossing the Hudson in such a little folding rowboat:

Morning walk on the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail in Concord, Massachusetts. Most of the vegetation along the trail has died back exposing the remains of a wasp 🐝 nest not far from the trail. Great to get out before the rain. @FriendsofBFRT

There are days when I want to bake a cake for every person who worked to make the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail a reality.
I feel so incredibly privileged to be able to ride safely here instead of driving my car into town. Our world needs more of this.
I ❤️ the @FriendsofBFRT.
