Our last graduating class. The ceremony was beautiful, powerful & bittersweet. For 7 years I worked with an amazing admin & staff, I can’t thank them enough. I guess it’s true that all good things come to an end. I will hold this school & all of the memories in my heart forever.

360 High School community (students, teachers & parents) passionately filled the Council Chamber & expressed concern for the school's planned closure this year. Councilors asked tough questions of PVD Public Schools leadership. RIDE's Commissioner was invited but did not attend.

What's odd about this argument is that the news was reported only *after* the decision to close the school was final. What people are asking is why PPSD didn't publicly propose the closure in order to take public input before it was a final decision

I want to thank the whole schools board for passing the resolution for RIDE to reverse the decision to close or merge 360 High School. We will continue to fight to save 360 until the commissioner @AInfanteGreen does the right thing !!

99.9% of the time this is the first face you will see when you enter 360 high school. We’ve got good vibes over here. I sit at this entrance every morning until first period starts. We get music going as students and staff enter. It’s also a great way to check in with your people

Given the increasing trend of school closures, it’s clear that we need a consistent and transparent process that Public School Districts and the Department of Education must follow before making such critical decisions.

Cogenerative teaching is this idea that @chrisemdin writes that empowers students to lead their learning. Today @360_HighSchool it was beautiful to see a student lead her classmates thru problem solving involving electrical circuits. Thank you Catherine (the teacher) for this.
