Regular reminder that libraries are much more than just books—although that would be valuable in itself. Libraries provide research databases, games, classes, clubs, movie screenings and a hundred other services.

When my kids were little, we loved the book “The Only One Club”. As we enter our 4th (!) school year with COVID, and different kids and families are in very different places, I’ve been thinking about what it means to be “the only one” in a classroom. 🧵

New $62 million dollar downtown library passes #Guelph city council tonight. Although I voted against this we move on, shine the shovels to get in the ground and get moving to make it the best it can be for our community. South end Rec Centre passed too which is great!
