I'm thrilled to announce that - after an extensive search process - the Guelph Public Library Board has selected Dan Atkins as the next CEO of the @GuelphLibrary.
Dan's track record as Acting CEO, as well as performance throughout the hiring process, made it clear that he was the right choice to lead the GPL in this critical moment.
On a personal level, I have loved working with Dan and look forward to our continued collaboration on the important work of the Library.

What a treat be one of the facilitators for today’s @unitedwaygwd Lessons with Local Leaders.
There’s a ton (A TON) of great local young professionals just scratching the surface of the contributions they’re going to make to this community.
My table was made up of young professionals from @uofg. I left the table feeling very hopeful about the future of that place.
Are you or someone you know a young professional? This is going to be a great event.
@unitedwaygwd has a sliding scale option to make sure people can attend.

Harrison Ford: When dozens of former members of the Trump administration are sounding alarms saying ‘For God's sake, don't do this again,’ you have to pay attention. They're telling us something important. I've got one vote, same as anyone else, and I'm going to use it to move forward. I'm going to vote for Kamala Harris

Core memory. Watching this on a muted tiny tv in my bedroom and then my parents letting me come watch the celebration with them. I think they knew I wasn’t asleep.
