All hands on deck today for a fall burndown run. Been pretty windy the last little while.

FYI for anyone struggling with poor cell service from @Bell. After multiple complaints that went nowhere, it was suggested that we get “domestic roaming” turned on. That allows connection to any companies tower if Bell is not available. Less dropped calls in @MarkLuymes backyard.

Working at dialing in targeted spraying with our See and Spray machine. This grower, 2 fields of edible beans ran approx. 50% savings on a post pass. The combination of high dollar crop and high dollar spray program are a perfect use case for this tech. 1/

Also on the topic of scouting, a crop canopy map provides opportunity to scout strategically. Identifying areas of the field that might be struggling more than others. 4/

What is the future of this tech? Where can it go next? In the short term: Stand counts? Plant uniformity maps? On the go foliar or fungicide decisions? Long term: Weed identification? Nutrient deficiency diagnosis? Opportunities are vast once the hardware is in place.

Anyone ever actually been penalized for cutting seals? Starting to get old, every year multiple products. Herbicides often not an issue.

The crew pulled off an incredible run this week. Takes a good team to keep 3 machines squirtin fert for 2 days in a row.

This sums up some of our experiences this past season. Excited to try some more things and integrate it into some of our week control programs for this year.
A contract operator's experience with green-on-green last season. Learned a lot, and still a lot to learn. sprayers101.com/gog_ontario/

A bit delayed but here are the results of our soybean variety plot planted on 2 separate dates. This was harvested after a rain. Prior to that rain everything but the later planted 08,09 and P09 were ready to go. At harvest the P09 still had some greens in the sample. @WheatPete

Was asked by a customer earlier this summer if we could help get rid of some old chem that came with farm he purchased. Today is the day they get taken to an @Cleanfarms collection point. These are a blast from the past.

I think I was the only Detroit at the elevator today. Had some fun this winter helping X less Dave get this thing road worthy. Finally got a chance to drive it. 1982 W900 with an 8V92

Another See and Spray example from my farm. Pic attached of the pressure found in the red area. As well as a pic representative of the rest of the field. Sprayed 32.5ac of the 126 ac field.
