This Tennessee congressman met his wife when she was still in high school and married her just a few years later when she was 21 and he was 45
ALT A photo of Rep. John Rose and his wife and children. The caption reads: “Rose and Chelsea raise their two sons in Cookeville, Tennessee, where they run a farm producing beef, hay, and tobacco.”
"God's children are not for sale."
What a powerful message from The Sound of Freedom blockbuster about the despicable practice of sex trafficking. We must take a stand for these children. An essential step is securing our border.
Thanks to the actors and the hero behind the film for visiting Capitol Hill.

This song is an ode to a sundown town, suggesting people be beaten or shot for expressing free speech. It also insinuates that guns are being confiscated, the penalty for which is apparently death. Aldean was on stage when 60 of his fans were shot to death and 400+ were wounded.
In the past 24 hours I have been accused of releasing a pro-lynching song (a song that has been out since May) and was subject to the comparison that I (direct quote) was not too pleased with the nationwide BLM protests. These references are not only meritless, but dangerous. There is not a single lyric in the song that references race or points to it- and there isn’t a single video clip that isn’t real news footage -and while I can try and respect others to have their own interpretation of a song with music- this one goes too far.
As so many pointed out, I was present at Route 91-where so many lost their lives- and our community recently suffered another heartbreaking tragedy. NO ONE, including me, wants to continue to see senseless headlines or families ripped apart.
Try That In A Small Town, for me, refers to the feeling of a community that I had growing up, where we took care of our neighbors, regardless of differences of background or belief. Because they were our neighbors, and that was above any differences. My political views have never been something I’ve hidden from, and I know that a lot of us in this Country don’t agree on how we get back to a sense of normalcy where we go at least a day without a headline that keeps us up at night. But the desire for it to- that’s what this song is about.
He does! In the mid-1980s, Lord British bestowed titles on me and my friends. I still have the letter somewhere.

Roots Market in Ft. Worth is denying a queer latina woman a spot to sell her pottery because she is gay. The Texas GOP has really emboldened these "Christian" bigots to thrive.

Hey remember this lady, the one that was insisting the "Tuck Swimsuits" at Target were for children & went on Fox to keep spreading bull.
Well fun fact, she also called for the [censored] of the president the other day. Meanwhile her husband is a member of the US Military.

CEO of Target Brian Cornell selling out the LGBTQ+ community to extremists is a real profile in courage.
This isn’t just a couple stores in the South. There is a systematic attack on the gay community happening across the country.
Wake up America.
This doesn’t stop here. You’re black? You’re Asian? You’re Jewish? You’re a woman?
You’re next.
