Authoritarianism will fall, and freedom will prevail.
They are imprisoned for being journalists—simply for expressing their opinions. Being a journalist is not a crime. They did not hold weapons; they held pens. They did not lead an army; they helped build an independent newspaper. #BlueRevolution @Freedom71851 @cnni @amnesty @hrw

Observe the difference. 80% of 🇪🇷 population is under the age of 40. Those demanding fundamental, systemic change in #Eritrea are overwhelmingly young people. More than 200k people are reportedly ready to join the ranks to overthrow this #PFDJ in the near future.

The #PFDJ has long tried to cover up its crimes and oppression through a monopoly on the narrative and the media. But that no longer works. Its propaganda empire has crumbled.
If we’re going to learn from history, let’s tell the whole story. The Eritrean liberation struggle was not won through slogans or foreign diplomatic manoeuvres alone. Eritrean fighters made enormous sacrifices, but the role of Tigrayan fighters in the final defeat of the Derg

The world cannot ignore what is happening in Sudan. One year on from the mass atrocities in El Fasher, the UK is sanctioning those linked to these and other atrocities, and strengthening support for survivors and communities at risk of famine.

The power of Eritrean youth, both inside the country and across the diaspora, demanding regime change is far greater than the numbers being reported. @ethiopiansone @ConnectiveStrat @DanielsonKassa1 @martinplaut @MarioNawfal

Yes, Rahel is doing well. She has the opportunity to study at one of the best universities in the #USA and travel to Eritrea every year during the summer break after her studies. @DanielsonKassa1 @ConnectiveStrat @mkheirom
Happy Monday, fellow Eritreans! Let’s take a moment to appreciate the inspiration provided by our own @RahelWeldeab. Let’s recognize our future diplomats—across every sector—who are truly working for our nation. This goes especially for our heroines—#Eritrean of women power.

A so-called researcher shielding Asmara’s brutal dictatorship with fabricated national emergencies: the same tool #PFDJ uses to hold #Eritreans under silent genocide. There is no nation or state to defend when its people face genocide. The choice is #PFDJ (genocide ) or freedom.

For years, the TPLF, an organization our #Eriteran people never fully understood, served as a buffer that helped shield the regime from opposition and potential challenges. Today, however, that protective shield has been shattered.

The Eritrean diaspora's involvement in their homeland's affairs has evolved into a well-structured, purposeful movement, reflecting both deep commitment and strategic organisation. For over fifty years, they have played a critical role in supporting the EPLF throughout its protracted struggle for independence from Ethiopian rule. Their contributions were not limited to financial assistance; they also provided essential resources, mobilisation efforts, and advocacy on international platforms, which bolstered the EPLF's cause. Additionally, during the border conflict that erupted with Ethiopia in 1998, the diaspora’s support proved invaluable. They galvanised community resources and rallied international sympathy to uphold Eritrea’s sovereignty amidst external aggression. Today, in the face of renewed hostilities and military campaigns from Ethiopia, the Eritrean diaspora continues to demonstrate its unwavering resolve. They are actively participating in efforts to counter such aggression, showing their readiness to defend Eritrea’s territorial integrity and national identity with the same fervour as during the independence struggle. This collective action reflects their enduring connection to their homeland and their commitment to a stable, secure future for the Eritrean people. #EmbassyMedia
