Bruno Damiani (11) and Milan Iloski (18) became the first two forwards for the Philadelphia Union since 2022 to both score double-digit goals in MLS.
Interim head coach Richter spoke about how important it is to get the duo firing this late in the season.
"I want to highlight a lot the work that they do outside of scoring the goals that gets the team in position where we can create chances for them. Because in the style that we play, if they’re not working the way that they are, we don’t get these chances.
"So what we ask them to commit to is a lot of work for the strikers, but when they get rewarded with good service, a lot of chances, and take those chances and get their goals, that work makes a little bit more sense."

Iloski after the game to folks with Apple TV - perfect description under Richter:
“Just keep believing. You know, we felt like we were the better team in the first half.
They got a goal there at the end, and, you know, we got the red card, which is huge. But we had a lot of belief. We knew we were going to come back.
We know we have goals in us.
So it was just pushing the tempo, pushing the pace, and, you know, trying to suffocate them for the whole second half.
And we did a great job.”

Danley Jean Jacques was ruled out for tonight’s game with a foot injury. Interim head coach Richter addressed the injury in his postgame press conference after the Union’s 3-1 win over the Chicago Fire.
Richter said Danley picked up the injury against Real Salt Lake this past Saturday. When he announced that Agustín Anello would be the only player out for tonight’s match, he was hopeful that Danley would recover in time.
Richter is hopeful the midfielder will be available this Saturday against Charlotte.
