I wrote an op-Ed for @currencynewsza in which I consider the long road of fiscal consolidation ahead and how a fiscal anchor might just increase the likelihood of success and help minimise the short term costs.
We all need a budget limit, and so does the government – a fiscal anchor. But that doesn’t mean there’s no flexibility to respond to economic shocks.
