Black History Month highlight: In 1898, a white supremacist coup in Wilmington overthrew a multiracial gov’t, fueling decades of voter suppression. Today’s threats like the SAVE Act echo that harm. We’re fighting to protect the right to vote for all.

As we reflect on the life, work and legacy of Rev. Jesse Jackson, our hearts are heavy with love & gratitude. His leadership, vision and relentless belief in ordinary people laid the very foundation that continues to guide the work we carry forward in North Carolina and beyond.

🚨NC Voters!   🗳️ If you received a letter from the NC State Board of Elections about an unvalidated SSN/DL number, you are STILL registered to vote and this WILL NOT impact your ability to vote in the upcoming election.

📱 If you have questions or concerns about your right to vote, call the nonpartisan NC election protection hotline at 888-OUR-VOTE.

The SAVE Act is a modern-day poll tax that would make registering to vote harder and more expensive. We don’t need barriers to voting, we deserve free and full access to the ballot box for all!   Help stop the SAVE Act: demnc.co/SAVEACT

🚨 Have you heard about the SAVE Act? The SAVE Act is a federal bill that would require people to show a birth certificate or U.S. passport to prove their citizenship when registering or re-registering to vote.   Take action to stop the SAVE Act: demnc.co/SAVEACT
